Umuntu 1: Wagiye gusenga? / Did you go to pray?
Umuntu 2: Oya. Urusengero rwacu rurafunze. / No. Our church is closed.

Umuntu 1: Kubera iki rufunze? / Why is it closed?
Umuntu 2: Nta bwihererero twari dufite. / We did not have restrooms.

Vocabulary

Wagiye = You went (comes from the verb “kujya” which means to go)
Gusenga = To pray
Oya = No
Urusengero = The church
rwacu = ours
Rurafunze = It is closed.
Kubera iki? = Why?
Rufunze = It is closed.
Nta = A word used for negations.
Ubwihererero = A restroom.
Twari dufite = we had

Kujya

Wagiye = You went
Twagiye = We went
Tuzajya = We will go
Wagiye = You went
