Umuntu 2: Igihugu gikeneye abasirikare.

Vocabulary

Kubera iki? = Why?
Mufite = You have (comes from a verb “Kugira” which means to have)
Abasirikare = Soldiers
Umusirikare = A soldier
Igihugu = A country
Gikeneye = It needs (comes from a verb “Gukenera” which means to need)

Gukenera

Dukeneye = We need
Bakeneye = They need
Ukeneye = You need
Gikeneye = It needs
Tuzakenera = We will need
Ndagukeneye = I need you.
Ndabikeneye = I need it
Uramukeneye = You need him/her.

Kugira

Ndayifite = I have it
Gifite = It has
Kirayibafite = It has them
Turabafite = We have them
Muradufite = You have us
Uramfite = You have me
