Gukenera = to need
With different subjects:
- Nkeneye = I need
- Ukeneye = You need
- Akeneye = He/She needs
- Gikeneye = It needs (talking about any other thing that is not a human)
- Ikeneye = It needs (Talking about another animal)
- Dukeneye = We need
- Mukeneye = You need (Plural)
- Bakeneye = They need (People)
- Bikeneye = They need (Other things)
- Zikeneye = They need (Animals)
Urugero:
- Igihugu gikeneye abaririkare = The country needs soldiers.
- Abana bakeneye kwitabwaho = Children need to be taken care of.
- Dukeneye amahoro = We need peace
- Igiti gikeneye kuhirwa = The tree needs to be watered.
- Igihugu gikeneye urubyiruko = The country needs the youth.
- Nkeneye kurya = I need to eat.
