How to say “My First time in Rwanda”

Dialogue

Umuntu 1: Wigeze uza mu Rwanda? / Have you come to Rwanda?
Umuntu 2: Oya, ni ubwa mbere nje mu Rwanda. / No, it is my first time in Rwanda.

Umuntu 1: Ni byiza. Nugira icyo ukenera umbwire. / It is good. If you need anything, let me know.
Umuntu 2: Nzakubwira rwose. / Sure, I will tell you.

Vocabulary

Wigeze? = Have you? (comes from a verb “kwigera” which means “to try on”)
Uza = You come (comes from a verb “kuza” which means “to come”)
mu Rwanda = in Rwanda
Oya = No
ubwa mbere = the first time
ubwa kabiri = the second time
ubwa gatatu = the third time
ubwa kane = the fourth time
ubwa gatanu = the fifth time
ubwa gatandatu = the sixth time
ubwa karindwi = the seventh time
ubwa munani = the eighth time
ubwa kenda = the nineth time
ubwa cumi = the tenth time
ubwa nyuma = the last time
Nje = I come
Ni = It is
Ni byiza = It is good
Nugira = If you have
Icyo ukenera = what you need
umbwire = tell me / let me know
Nzakubwira = I will tell you (comes from a verb “kubwira’ which means “to tell”)
rwose = is a word that is express show how firm you are in an activity.

Kwigera

Reka nigere = Let me try it on
Igere = Try it on
Wazigeze? (inkweto) = Have you tried it on? (shoes)
Muhe yigere = Give him to try it on.
Wigeze? = Have you?

Kuza

Ndaje = I am coming
Naje = I have come
Yaje = He/She has come
Yaraje = He/She came
Baje = They have come
Twaje = We have come
Ngwino = Come

Kubwira

Mbwira = Tell me
Mubwire = Tell him/her
Umbwire = You tell me
Nzakubwira = I will tell you.
Ndababwira = I tell them.
