Dialogue

Umuntu 1: Ndagukumbuye / I miss you.
Umuntu 2: Nanjye ndagukumbuye / I miss you too.

Umuntu 1: Nzakubona ryari? / When will I see you?
Umuntu 2: Ejo / Tomorrow.

Vocabulary

Ndagukumbuye = I miss you. (comes from a verb called “Gukumbura“)
Nanjye = Me too
Nzakubona = I will see you. (comes from a verb called “Kubona“)
Ryari = When
Ejo = Tomorrow

Gukumbura

Ndagukumbuye = I miss you
Urankumbuye = You miss me
Ndabakumbuye = I miss them/you (in plural)
Muzadukumbura = You will miss us.
Naragukumbuye = I missed you.
Ndabikumbuye = I miss it.

Kubona

Ndakubona = I see you
Ndababona = I see you (In plural)
Ndababona = I see them
Ndabibona = I see them (things)
Nzakubona = I will see you.
