How to say “Who said it?” in Kinyarwanda

Dialogue

Umuntu 1: Isi irashaje = The world is old.
Umuntu 2: Ni nde wabivuze? = Who said it?

Umuntu 1: Ni umuhanzi wabivuze. = It is the artist who said it.
Umuntu 2: Urakoze. = Thank you!

Vocabulary

Isi = The world
Irashaje = It is old. (comes from Kinyarwanda verb Gusaza which means to get old.)
Ni nde = Who is it
Wabivuze = Someone who said it. (comes from Kinyarwanda verb Kuvuga, which means To speak, To say, or To talk.)
Ni = It is
Umuhanzi = The artist / The creator
Urakoze = Thank you.

Kuvuga (To speak, To say, To talk)

Wabivuze = You said it.
Nabivuze = I said it.
… wabivuze = … said it (this can be used to talk about the other person, if the other person was mentioned at the beginning)
Nzabivuga = I will say it
Ndamuvugisha = I will talk to him/her
Yarabivuze = He/she said it
Yaravuze ngo, … = He/she said that, …
Azabivuga = He/she will say it

Gusaza

Arashaje = He/she is old.
Ndashaje = I am old.
Irashaje = It is old.
Ndi gusaza = I am getting old.
Uri gusaza = You are getting old.
Barashaje = They are getting old.
Bari gusaza = They are getting old.
Muri gusaza = You are getting old (in plural)
